Wow, that is freaking insane! Though, if you got caught doing 215 in a 55, you'd be getting a HELL of lot more than just a speeding ticket...anyone here know what the outcome of such a ticket would be? Like would they just cuff you on the spot and impound the car. What other charges would you be facing? I can't believe someone got clocked at that speed...holy crap lol.

Lucky they didn't arrest him for wreck less life endangerment or attempted murder. Here in idaho that is what you get for tripling a speed. They throw your ass in jail and the judge will take your car and auction it off.

Even if the cop was an idiot and just gave him a ticket the court will probably issue more infractions.

Kansas would impound the car for double the speed limit let alone this speed. Plus they can hit you with reckless endangerment when you do over 115 or so.

And some states even can crush the car based on the level of crime.

What I'm thinking is the owner has a cop buddy and wanted to have his speed on the radar to see how fast he could get it. And then as a joke the cop made this ticket.

I know Kansas cops. I've gotten pulled over for 6 over... In a 40 zone...

Call me the naysayer.... but I don't believe that this is a real ticket. It would have made at least local news, and more than likely national news. None of my friends or family heard about it in Kansas. If it was real, the officer who wrote the ticket would be under scrutiny for not issuing other citations along with it. One simply doesn't do 215 and just pay one penalty. If the officer only wanted to write one citation, and happened to be the coolest cop in the world, they would have knocked it down to like 99 and just issued that citation so as to not raise eyebrows.

If it is real, and I have to eat my words, this is the ultimate speeding ticket.

Not for speeding but for felonies, which this would be, but obviously not until conviction.

Cops then could also then use it as a pool vehicle. That would be pretty cool to see a jump out at a raid hopping out of an R35 with at least 1200 awhp to go 215mph lol.

I know here in MA (at least in springfield) if youre caught street racing both cars are inpounded and never returned to the owners no questions asked so im sure you can lose your car for going 4x limit

Yep I didn't see it on the news nor any of my friends around KC saw anything related via social media. But when Bull Run passed through KC a couple years ago that made the news, so I am sure this would have. Which it didn't here in Kansas.

#2 Section 08-1558 as listed on ticket is for 1-10 miles over the posted speed limit

#3 The fine for going 1-10 miles over the posted limit is 45.00. Notice that the alleged fine is 2445.00. This is clearly photoshopped.
