Id assume better performance for sure, lighter car = faster.

Would be nice to see the new Zs hopefully with a turbo option like the Z32s did.

Not a chance. It might go faster due tp more HP but just add a kit onto that 370 to get that. Gtr is dual clutch and a massive engineering design that took many years to develop. An engine isn't the only reason why the gtr is so fast.

I think it will be twice as fast as the GT-R, cost 1/2 as much, and the GT-R will no longer be produced because of it.

I think thats what he was saying, having the GTR Engine, which would basically turn the 370Z into a Z with a GTR drivetrain.

Dual clutch, self adjusting suspension, all of the things the GTR offers has been done before. Just that its now hitting the Japanese world of cars. The GTR is fast because Nissan makes awesome engines

Dimensions, packaging etc.

If you're asking hypothetically will it fit, go research it and tell us. Would be a cool article and a swap I know someone will eventually do.

Should it be done? Of course not. Far easier and effective to just soup up what is pre-existing. If you want to just go balls out, stick an LSx motor in it, you'll get more for far less dough.

Would it be cool? fuck yea. Modified is more fun than stock.
