Quick question, I just did 800 package which is basically for Bolton+ E85+ new turbos as everybody knows on here. During the tuning, it appears that the red line was bumped. What is a safe redline the people have moved the rev limiter to in conjunction with modifications like this?

On our C800 package we do raise the redline a little bit to get more out of the upgraded turbos, but nothing crazy.

What is your new redline after the turbo upgrade?

I think the biggest issue for engine rpm is whether you have stock valves. If your go too high, you can float a stock valve and screw things up.

I am about to do the same to my 2009 GT-R I recently acquired (13k miles), which 800 kit did you go with?
Go with the Xona Greens and save yourself a bunch of money. They will make more than a stock engine can handle on E85.

I ran [email protected] with the older version on an aggressive 93 pump tune. The newest version has the UHF turbine wheel so it should flow a little better. I recommend the following supporting mods...

ID 1300cc injectors
Twin 485’s w/hardwire kit
Cast bell mouth SS downpipes
3.5” midpipe
3.5” exhaust
DBA inlets (ported)
3” intakes
Upgraded MAF or SD kit
Race intercooler w/ 2.75” upper pipes

You can pick up many of these parts used and in good order on the FacePlant forums for cheap. You’ll also need to make or buy a fuel pressure monitor kit and ethanol sensor kit.

How funny I literally have ordered almost all those parts over the last few days as well as Cobb AP and Visconti Flex-fuel kit (as well as their twin pumps, hardwire kit, and 1300x2 injectors) The only thing is my mid pipe is 3" and my cat back is from a NISMO model (Car came with Nismo seats and exhaust from a late model Nismo GT-R) Do you think I should upgrade the cat back?

Also, I figured upgrading the intakes to 3" would suffice for the MAF or are you saying I need to upgrade the actual MAF's and scaling for the larger 3" intake won't be enough? I plan to stay around 700-800 whp.

Only issue with the greens is they are notorious for leaking seals. I’ve seen multiple sets leak on install.

Good luck.

This has been reported although I and other local GTR guys had zero issues with them. Xona is produced by FP so I assume they are the same manufacturer as the turbos on your car since Cicio uses Xona.

Ideally you want 3.5" at that power level, but just run what you have for now. Regarding my comments on MAF, you can buy a SD kit that requires you to turn off several DTC's so if you have OBD II inspection that will have to be converted back to MAF to pass. If you don't want to go SD then you can purchase a set of recalibrated MAF sensors that will allow you to support 800+hp in a 3" tube. My buddy local is running them and on Xona Greens at 20psi he is only hitting ~4.0volts.

Two buddies cars this summer had these issues unfortunately. Leak on startup. It’s definitely a known issue.

Size and housing apples and oranges as reference for FPs other products. .

My Xona Green's work flawlessly and I did another install for my friend and they work great too. Best turbo's for the money.

Stock motor at 24psi, upgrading to built block soon :) Should do easy 900whp with some extra boost.

Impressive results and you should consider upgrading your cams when building the shortblock. I'm in the process of doing the same and went with GSC S2's/springs/retainers for the stock unported heads.
