I am replacing my rotors and pads today from the stock setup to an aftermarket setup, my questions is there is a vibration damper on the stock ones that I need to take off and put on the new rotors. Does anyone know the torque specs on that. Nissan was of no help when I called an asked them this question.

figured it out.... it think. 18lbs, I am going to recheck everything after driving a few hundred miles.

By "vibration damper" are you referring to it the brake hats that attach to the brake rotors themselves?

No they attach to the Brake hats, it just little bolt that attached to them. Nissan Says they come pre installed on the brakes when they get them to replace so they couldn't tell me the torque specs.

At least that is my understanding of what they are. I could very well be wrong.

Changed the brakes and everything seems ok though. I put Hawk pads on and am not sure how l like them though.
