This topic seems to come up often, but I never found a real definitive answer, so I figured I would post this thread up to help anyone considering making this upgrade. First, I would like to say that unfortunately I was not able to weigh my stock wheels/tires when off the car, nor was I able to weigh my new wheels/tires as I didn't have a scale available. So these numbers are compilations based on research, and my sources are listed at the bottom of the thread. If anyone has better data, please let me know and I'll update this post!

Raw Data:
Premium wheels: 20x9.5 (front)= 25 lbs, 20x10.5 (rear)= 27
Black Edition wheels: 20x9.5 (front)= 22.7 lbs, 20x10.5 (rear)= 23.8 lbs
Advan GT wheels: 20x10 ET35 (front)=21 lbs, 20x12 ET20 (rear)=23 lbs
Dunlop runflats: 255/40R20 (front)=36 lbs, 285/35R20 (rear) = 38 lbs
MPSS: 285/35R20XL (front)=30.4 lbs, 335/30R20XL (rear)= 34.9 lbs

Combined wheel/tire weights (each):
Premium: 61 lbs front, 65 lbs rear
Black: 58.7 lbs front, 61.8 lbs rear
Advan GT/MPSS: 51.4 lbs front, 57.9 lbs rear

Weight savings of swapping to Advan GT/MPSS:
Premium: 9.6 lbs per front, 7.1 lbs per rear, 33.4lbs total
Black: 7.3 lbs per front, 3.9 per rear, 22.4 lbs total

Edit to add: this data assumes a DBA GTR, I didn't research a CBA.

Jeez, the Advan GT and MPSS on my car look so big I would have assumed at best equal to a little heavier. Great Weight savings. Thanks for the info

The weight of the Advan GT is impressive. The 20x12 +20 TE37 Ultra weighs in at 25.35 lbs. Same specs on the wheels. Made in the same factory. And yet it's design shaves an additional 2+ lbs.

That;s pretty significant!
What about the "lighter" version of the TE37 ultra's? The "Track" version?
