Let's translate this to language that M3 owners understand. Here is a video of a STOCK GT-R vs a modified BMW M5. A stock M5 would annihilate an M3. The best thing to do with M3 fanbois is to ask them to put their money where their mouth is. Ask him to run you for $500...guarantee he'll stop singing his tune if you do.

Haha, I HONESTLY do love the M3 and M5's are simply incredible. However- in the GT-R, the M3 drivers won't even look at you if you're in a GT-R and there is any OPEN stretch of road. If there is a crapload of traffic, they'll try to race you as long as they know you can't get around other cars.

WOW! expected but still surprising to see those threads. I remember when I had my e55 amg- the m3 boys would swear that they could stomp it. When push came to shove and i'd put buslengths on them i'd get "well, at least I have a manual transmission"...

Go to a designer shop lay down the gtr's key while asking the price of the handbag see what the sales person's attitude would change as compared to when they see a key of BMW. it's the value mate! If you want a Nissan don't pay 100k, get a PS3!

I love the M3, but it's no supercar. I had an E46 M3 and it was a great car. I've tracked E9x M3's many times...

M3's are great BEGINNER sports cars. They have good balance and poise and inspire confidence. That being said, they are a dime a dozen, especially in LA. Nothing special anymore.

Yeah who wants a Entry Level Sports car anyway? I mean you can save 30-40K and grab a Mustang 5.0 and it will do everything the 3 Series does but better. Why spend 10-15K on a Blower for the M3 when you can spend under 5K on the 5.0 and be just as fast with Minor boltons????
