Brian our photographer and media guru walked back into the shop today and noticed all the lifts were occupied by GT-R's and all were finishing up ALPHA treatments.

IIRC it means its prepping the 9 package with the necessary upgrades to roll it into a 12 when ready without major changes.

Congrats on all the business. The stimulus package has landed in Chicago lol

From what I've learned it means that the owner started with the Alpha 9 package and then asked for a few upgrades of this or that making it a 9+, Eric has previously said that all kits can be customized.

The ALPHA 9+ has not been disclosed to this point. We were recently contacted by NY Giant running back Brandon Jacobs to turn the wick up on his GT-R. He had some specific requests and wanted to make over 700whp on pump gas and 800whp on race gas. That level of performance puts him right at the cusp of what an ALPHA 9 package would do.

This is where our owner and head engineer Martin Musial came in. Martin has been playing the idea of going a little bigger on the ALPHA 9 turbo's and pushing a bit more HP. We proposed this idea to Brandon and when Dan (His sales associate) presented it to him I think Brandon had said "YES!" before Dan could even finish lol.

We hate speculating but the ALPHA 9+ should produce about 50hp more than its ALPHA 9 counterpart. When we actually get some test numbers (motor is going in now) I will make sure we do a new thread on our findings along with pricing information.

Bottom line is the NY/NJ area is in for some trouble when number 27 gets his car back. As if a 6'4" 264lb NFL running back wasn't intimidating enough haha!

Thanks everyone!

Eric
