Back in the day I use to test drive test cars and SUV's for a car maker, will keep it anonymous as much as possible.

All of the drivers were under strict orders

1) no eating/drinks or food in the car while on the test routes

2) no cell phone use

3) no radar or laser detectors.

Normally I would always bend the rules in away until one of my supervisors was screaming on the radio "WTF"

then it happened in slow mode, coke dropped on to the floor shiftier, the dash board lit up like a x-mas tree and it was something like this

I did manage to get everything dried off and cleaned as best as I can, however I did schedule to be off of work for the next 3 days after the coke spill, fortunately have been saving up my vacation time at work and I scheduled my vacation time a week before for my finals, I put in my papers for my days off the previous week. Ok, so I get back to the work shop, turn in my books clean the car and parked it, then back to study for finals.

So within the next 3days I was off, the bosses were calling everyone who showed up to work those 3 days I was off into the office,

and below is just short of what happened......... then workplace interrogation began "who spilled the coke in the test car" ?.......................... no one talked

I showed back up to work next week, interrogation began and I was

who spilled the Coke in the car ......................................

Looking back on this now I was LOLOLOLOL about it..............................

whats the job title, I know there are lots of offices near where I live for major manufactures... like BMW in Chicago, do I call them up and ask to be a test driver?

The CIA at least has a clandestine services website to apply too

nope, need to look in Arizona where the hot weather test tracks are located there are a couple of emission test facility's and I'd like to add the pay is absolutely shit, and you have to deal with the incompetent personnel from Japan and or Germany once in a while, and yes you guys at NNA and Nissan Japan do have some personnel that just makes anyone wonder how the F the have been employed for so long with the company, guess its who you know.

HA! I know this story...
Yes, always be nice when pulled over, I remembered when I told someone in a R8 that there was a Cop just up ahead waiting for us and the driver in the R8 mouthed off to me "Im a pro and Audi's dont get pulled over"

so there I was driving like an old fart in the right lane and the cop pulled over the dude in the R8, when I finish up the loop on my test run, passing by the same place the audi driver was in the back of the cruzer and there was a flat bed tow truck there taking the car in.
