Another 0-60 Clutch Question? LC2 I assume

Hi Guys,
I just bought a 10 GTR with 200 miles (now 750 miles) still have not launched it but will soon in R mode.... I was a mechanic for years on Turbo cars and I am quite familiar with performance but I have seen some things with this car I just don't get. If I am sitting at a light, foot on the brake and If I go to take off the brake "most of the time" the clutch just slips and then I feel the trans clunk and the car takes off..... I just cannot imagine that these clutches are adjusted right. It just seems odd to me that anyone would allow 3 to 4500 RPM launched with the clutches slipping until they slam the trans.....

Does this make sense at all? I guess what I am saying is that I don't think my clutches are adjusted right. Slipping a "little" I could see but mine seems to slip a good bit every time? I mean, if I don't ease into it the car literally will not move at all and then at about 1500 rpm or so it clunks into gear and takes off. I am afraid that when I do start launching this car it will really present some trans issues.....

It does not do it all the time but way more than I would consider normal but then again this setup is kinda new to me? I get the fact that launch control gets the r's up to prevent the lag out of the hole but i have never seen any car that would allow the clutches to slip then slam the gears..

I watched a few LC videos on Youtube and all of them seem to rev the engine and when the take off the hookup seems solid unlike what I think mine would do... Ie.... slamming into gear....

Any tips would be welcomed.

you need to have your "touch point B" increased so the car slightly creeps off the line when the brake isnt being pressed down.... you dont want it to creep as fast as an regular automatic but you want it the start slowly moving as soon as your foot is off the brake with out giving it any gas.....
I'm glad you asked this question. I've owned my 2009 GTR a whole three days but seem to be experiencing something similar. In first gear, it is somewhat difficult to get the car going without a good amount of throttle. And even then its a bit jerky. I just assumed it was a driver problem but now I'm wondering if its the clutch. I have no problem when performing a rolling start in 2nd gear. Any insight would be great.

yup read above you want touch point B to be set at about +2
ty OP for asking the question. i feel like this deserves a pin as a tech issue.
I had the gear relearn done today as well as touch point b set to +2. I'm not sure it completely resolved the issue but the situation is much better. Thanks for the help.
Yup... Sounds like the tech who reprogrammed LC2 (or the person who rolled the 2010 off the line) left the touch point at 0.

This doesn't engage the clutches until about 1250 RPM (or so), and feels really jerky. I like my creep with the +2.
I really wonder if this is my issue on my 10... Have a Cobb coming Monday, I guess we will find out.

Thanks for posting this....
