Anyone looking to sell in May 2012?

Considering the newly released information on the 2013's I'm wondering if anyone is considering selling their current GT-R in the spring of 2012. I know it's several months away but what better way to sell a car if you know you already have a buyer months in advance. I could also be that much more excited knowing that I found a potential vehicle and where I would be flying into for pick up.

I want to find a private sale and would like to buy from a fellow NAGTROC member!

I'm looking to purchase a used 2010-11 GT-R in May 2012. I want to purchase a car that has not been modified and never tracked or launched. Color preferences are grey, SS, red, white, and black being my last choice. Vehicles closer to Florida are preferred as this is where I will be vacationing for 20 days and then driving the vehicle back home to Canada.

$65,000 is my limit as I will have to add 6.1% duty and 15% tax when I register back home.

Thanks for looking! I can't wait to be an actual owning member of this forum.

Man you have patience. I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing I have a car possibly purchased and have to wait 5 months.

It's been 10 days since I've signed my papers and just waiting for my car to reach home. I had a trip planned so shipping got delayed so it arrives when I get back and not when I am away.

I must admit I have lost some sleep in anticipation. Took about 4 weeks to find the right car.
Good things take time! I have learned the hardway before that rushing a purchase like this is not worth it. Sounds like you did it the right way and took your time. Once I find one though the anticipation will kill me lol. Congrats on your car!
What new 2013 info?

they bumped the HP again to 560 or 570. I forget. Found a dealer website that said the MSRP would be the same as the 2012's. May looks like a good month cause I turn 30 in May and hope to make my next purchase then as well.
I'll be selling my 2012 when the 2013 arrives, and I'm in FL, doubt it will go for $65k though....

What city are you in? those duties sound low for overseas. You are asking alot for $65,000! just add "never driven" as well

I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. Duty is 6.1% to import from the US. I know it's a lot to ask but the closest certified dealer is in Montreal so I don't want to make any more trips or tows then I have to lol.

I imagine if you were selling it for 65000 I would have to camp out on your front lawn in order to be first in line come May lmao. I'm not looking for a miracle just a well looked after reliable car.

hmm, that sounds like a good idea, I just might do that too....haha
Mine's black-2010. But I'll sell it to you for that price next spring.

It's un-modded, never been launched or tracked.

PM sent.
There doesn't exist a GT-R that has never been launched. You're kidding right?

Mine hasn't... not yet at least

Out of the 5 pm's I have received 4 of the owners claim no launches or track time. I guess not everyone needs to experience a few fractions of a second quicker acceleration at the risk of causing unnecessary damage and the hassle that may follow at time of service or sale.

I just want the best car that I can get for my budget.
I don't buy it. Maybe some have not launched their car with Traction Control "Off", but I find it hard to believe they haven't held the brakes, and then floored it. But ok.
sure, if you believe them.... mine has been launched, it was designed to be launched, and I'll have no problem selling it when it's time, my 2009 GT-R was sold within 24 hours of listing it, the person who bought it paid me in full and didn't even pick up the car until 6 weeks later...
