Found the axle disconnected on the front left today... Can this just be put back/repaired or do I need to replace it.

Wanna know the wildest part? I have absolutely no idea. No clue how long is been like that too. I jacked it up to investigate a slight transmission leak (ended up being the gasket) and thought I'd look around and found this. I'm going to do the classic thing and blame it on the missus in an attempt to mask dealing with the fact I caused it 😂

Appreciate it bud! I travel loads so I have others in my family that drive it too, so I'm guessing my lil pep talk that the car makes noises and it's totally normal was taken a bit too far 😂
