With the front end of my car being taken apart to fit the new AMS Street intercooler I was thinking of also swapping out the oem radiator for a better one to combat the occasional track days in the hot Australian climate and overall improve cooling just for convenience. However there are so many options I'm stuck deciding on one so let me know what radiators you guys are using and what you recommend! Here are the radiators I'm currently looking at:
  1. Mishimoto Performance Radiator: Mishimoto Performance Radiator - Nissan R35 GTR
  2. AMS Alpha CBRD Lightweight Radiator: AMS Alpha CBRD Lightweight Radiator - Nissan R35 GT-R
  3. PWR Performance Alloy Radiator 42mm Close Mesh: PWR Performance Alloy Radiator 42mm Close Mesh - Nissan R35 GTR

Any chance you can ditch the street intercooler and go right to the race? You’ll need it eventually and the street doesn’t do much.

I haven't purchased the intercooler just yet and there aren't any AMS Race intercoolers in Australia unless I order one from America, however if it is a much better choice I could just do that. I just assumed I wouldn't need the race intercooler as I'm running a street setup without a built motor/ trans so I'm capped at 600-700hp on stock internals.

+1 - most street intercooler buyers regret they didn't just go straight to the race version. Sold on AMS? Look at ETS as well, especially if you have to order from US anyway.

Hey man, with the heat you guys get you definitely need a race Intercooler or bigger. Even at 700 +/-

I have friends in Sydney and it makes Texas look like Alaska.

I'll send AMS an email and see if they ship, if not i'll have to wonder around the web searching for someone that ships to Australia. Also what radiator would you recommend?

There is a new up and coming company that is making some pretty impressive radiators. They aren't very well known but they have a lifetime warranty on almost all of their products. They are called Autozone. Hard to find, I know but definitely worth driving to get. On a serious note, anything that goes from A-B gets an OEM radiator. Anything that goes fast gets Mishimoto. Good customer service, great quality and pricing isn't too bad either.
