Do you have a Cobb installed? if so try the new OTS V360 maps, else custom tune.

The only way to get higher boost is to get a Cobb, max boost 18 psi mid range tapering to 15 psi topend on OEM turbos.
Since you have a 2012 I don't believe Cobb offers a OTS map, you may have to get a custom map from one the vendor's on the forum.

I was told aftermarket BOV's would hold the boost steadily at higher levels.

I dont think this is true when talking about stock turbos.

If you want more boost and stock-like drivability, call Forged Performance and get a custom e-tune in conjunction with a Cobb AP. It will be $ well-spent.
