The winner is based solely on time? The R34 got it out to the 1/4 mile but lost out a little on the mile. However they put reaction time in there, and give a time with reaction time.

Maybe I missed something in translation.

Looks like the R34 ran the last 1/2 mile in high gear with the shift light on. Maybe higher gearing for this type of event would have been a big plus.

There were a couple cars done in the Middle East, a couple here in the US, a couple in other places. Not many LHD in the world. None from Nissan until the R35.

It came from Japan to the US. Was converted by a Russian to LHD. Then went to Australia to be made into a 1000+ hp monster, then to its home on a Pacific Island.

I didn't even really notice that. I've done 137mph with about 700 wheel. The RB doesn't make a ton of torque, so its a little more difficult to get motivated to move.
