Curious what is the most effective way to build RPM's more quickly for launch. I recall a post by Thistle a while back where he had made modifications to his tune that allowed him to go to the 3700 to 4000 range much quicker then is standard. I looked and could not find any updates (I think it was a cobb experiment he was working on). Is there any parts that need to be added or is this strictly a tune issue or is it just not possible.

I have a cobb 006 with TCM.

Use the Level 2 TCM map cobb offers. This builds the highest RPM. In fact if you back off the CCs a bit, you can get it to go higher.

Until we see what LC4 can do on the non-2012 GTRs, then this is your only option.

I'm sorry for the silly question but what does back off the "CC's" mean?

It means to lower the Clutch Capacities. It's a "catch 22" though. If you lower the CC's too much, your clutches may slip.
