Can I run this Tire Size?....Advice Please

Will there be any issues with running the following tire size? Its the oem width just lower height tire:

255/35/20 (27.027" diam)
285/30/20 (26.73" diam)

They are within the 8mm and/or 0.31" height difference recommended sizing from the manual. It seems like they will have a shorter sidewall and about an inch less height than the oems. Will this drop the car or just increase the fender/wheel gap or both. Would not want the fender gap to be any larger than stock but don't mind the overall car being dropped a little. Please advise.

They shouldn't give you any TC issues, but your fender gap will increase by approx 1/2 inch, along w/ the entire car abt the same (if approx 1" shorter than stock tire) closer to the tarmac.

It will also affect your speedometer reading..

something else to consider: shorter sidewall = harsher ride
thanks guys its just a pain buying a good matched GTR tire when you shy away from the oems. Im also considering:

275/40/20 (28.66" diam)
315/35/20 (28.68" diam)

They're about 0.6" and 0.8" larger diameter on F and R respectively.

Can I fit this on the GTR without rubbing or rolling fenders on stock suspension? Will they stick out past the fender wall? I have the oem wheels but plan on getting aftermarket wheels soon which is why I am going larger now. I've heard about tire slippage with the 315's etc but I don't performance drive or anything, just daily drive the car so will this 275/315 setup work?
