Are you referring to removing the catalyst material from the stock downpipes, or cutting and welding in straight pipes in place of them? For the effort and some of the affordable down pipes out there- I'd advise going ahead and just installing some aftermarket ones that would allow you to reinstall the stocks later-

If it's for the appearance of having stock cats in place- the AMS cast pieces look OEM and might fit what you are looking for.

The objective is to be able to pass visual inspection in CA (with a catted downpipe like COBB). I'll have a look at the AMS downpipes -
