Not too long ago we had placed a thread up about some GT-R's getting shipped to AMS for some service http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?/topic/61947-special-delivery-for-ams-transport-drops-off-a-bundle/page__hl__%2Bjeff%26%2339%3Bs+%2Balpha__fromsearch__1

One of those vehicles was Chris' brand new 2012 Nissan GT-R. Chris lives in the Philippines so he wanted a very safe conservative ALPHA 9 package that he could enjoy on his grade of pump gas. In addition Chris was very specific on his wheel choice and finish and selected a set of ADV.1 21" Deep Concave ADV10 wheels with Gloss black lip/barrel and matte gunmetal centers. Chris lives in a region where lowering his car is not really an option or you would see her nestled down on those wheels a little more. Despite stock ride height the car came out looking GREAT!

Power was right where we anticipated with a very conservative pump gas tune 677whp 611 Torque

When I said brand new I wasn't kidding either. This bad boy still has the plastic on it LOL

We still have some more road testing to do with the car before we give her our blessing to leave. But I'm sure Chris is counting the seconds to drive his ALPHA 9 equipped 2012 GT-R for the first time!!!

Very nice build! Forget the ride height, though, I'm wondering how the wheels themselves will survive those roads - he's got next to no sidewall!

The roads are rough over in Manila...there are areas where the roads are smooth but you are limited (like Fort Bonafacio area where there is a exotic car meet I think every Sunday). The major highways SLEX and NLEX (South and North Luzon Expressway) aren't bad for the most part with stretches that are relatively smooth. The flyovers though are not bad since most folks can't afford the tolls so they don't take the bulk of the damage from all the vehicles in the city.

The car looks great...loving the wheels. Just be careful...the potholes in Manila area (if he lives in the city center) can be pretty deep. He probably already knows that though and will limit the areas he travels. It would be nice if GPS could plot potholes or rough patches of roads...

Every 4 months...my pops is retired there. I just bought a condo at Fort Bonafacio and my relatives live in San Fernando, Pampanga. I plan to retire there in about 10yrs...alternating 3months at time between here and the States.

I actually just got back last week and will be back in Manila end of January 2012.
