So I was doing an E85 fill with a funnel yesterday and spilled a small amount on my paint (near the gas door). I immediately went to grab a rag and wiped it with microfiber. I then sprayed some quick detailer on and covered the whole area.

I have convinced myself there is a discoloration in the paint. Has anyone had a similar situation and if so, what did you use to clean it? Are there any products that are specifically used to clean ethanol or gas stains on paint? Thanks in advance

I cant comment for use on e85 but I have yet to get stumped by anything else (including gas or diesel) Ive used it for.

You can yes, this stuff will clean right down to the clear coat but won’t remove the clear coat.
