Did a quick datalog and data from 5000 to 6500 rpm. The average air fuel (New) is 10.85 while the air fuel old is 12.5. My question is air fuel new require a correction factor? My car seems to run well.

Thanks,

You have old firmware, I believe that afr new has been fixed in the latest and at your afr will read about 0.8 richer than afr old

to confuse you further Kerry that is petrol scale. so for your e85 set up...

12.3 old is 11.5 real is 7.6 e85, 14.4 old is 14.7 real is e85 stoich 9.76

petrol wide real divide by 14.7 times 9.76 = your e85 afr

I'm curious why the correct transfer function hasn't been implemented so that we don't have to convert AFR values. AFR old is nearly a point lean as compared to actual in the ranges we're interested in at WOT, and AFR new from what I have been able to tell is a few decimal places rich compared to actual. I take it implementation isn't super straight forward for you guys?
