First of all, I know that causes of P1148 and P0031 have been covered several times in other post. The point of this post is to narrow down if its a tuning issue or an installation problem before the finger pointing begins. I've already shown my installer these codes prior to driving off with the car following an installation of a CATTED downpipe.

Basically, the AF in Bank 1 is not moving (the min and max are virtually identical). Is this indicative of a bad or misplaced O2 Sensor?

AF sensor in bank1 (before the cats) is bad/not working/missing.

Take a log and post it up. Some normal driving and a short 3rd gear rip. Looks like a bad sensor to me. They are quite fragile, and easily damaged. We keep them on hand and usually advise people to use at least new front sensors. If A/F sticks like that during normal driving the car will eventually spit a B1 O2 code out.

Get the DENSO replacement at half the cost of OEMs, but works just as good.

The simple fact that I got the green light after showing my installer, assured me there was gonna be some finger pointing to a tuner. Just wanted a hard(er) argument towards a bad sensor.
