Hi Guys,

I just got my hands on a brand new C3 from SPX. It came pre-loaded with C3 V17 in a Panasonic Toughbook C19 laptop. The CAN BUS won't connect with my EDM GTR 2010 model , so I decided to update the software to V21 that was provided with the laptop by SPX. I tried to install it but each time I would get an error "The Installation detected that the computer is not a Panasonic Toughbook" and installation would abort. Can anyone help me with this problem , as SPX seems determined NOT to help?

Try updating all of the tough book drivers even if they don't need it. Get them straight from panasonics website. Might also check the bios and try resetting to default. That may screw something up. I have no idea what dependencies are on that notebook but its where I'd start.

Is the software and notebook legit? Might be that the crack doesn't work with updates.

when you say V21, you meant V09.21 ? Are you installing from a CD? Is this the error? Your problem stems from a registry change that was made on your laptop (where the setup process pulls a key to check). Did you install a 3rd party software or upgrade XP? I'm running C-III and C-III Plus on Windows 7 64bit on my PC

There's no crack needed to run CIII either.

YES THATS the problem! Did not install anything whatsoever! Plz tell me how I can fix this! I will have to make it work on the laptop provided by SPX as otherwise I won't be able to reprogramme the car without the security cards.

I was under the impression you have C3+ running on your PC with Win 7 64 bit, so I was just curious how you did it thats all. I have the C3+ software but I can't get past the Panasonic Toughbook check.

Having same problem. Have original software downloaded from Nissan website. New consult II from SPX. My Panasonic toughbook is a cf53. SPX said they would refund but I'd rather get it to load. Any help would be appreciated.
