I remember seeing a post from MC - the founder, back in 2019 on the DBA/EBA discussion and he said:
“by the way even though it doesnt make sense and its a commonly used term there is no such thing as a EBA GTR. the 2017 keeps the DBA and believe it or not Nissan finally just changed it for 2020 as the car is now a known as a "4BA-R35”
I’ve seen a lot of articles and posts about EBA’s but what is true right, I don’t know. As far as the interior I would think parts would be a direct swap in terms of the door cards, they look similar between 2016 & 2017. Without looking at the drawing it’s hard to tell. The center console might be where you encounter problems with the different layout amongst other things.
it is probably easier to sell/trade up & move mods into a MY17+ than try and fit the upgraded interior. You would probably have to either source parts direct from Nissan or get lucky with a donor car. Either won’t be cheap.
