I'm torn between the Nissan Juke 1.6T manual gearbox or the Civic Type R (FD2) 2.0 manual gearbox.

I'm leaning towards the Civic but its more expensive than the Juke.

Pros of the Juke are the added versatility of extra load carrying etc

Juke seems to make more sense between the two. How did you end up with these two cars as your choices?

Yeah the front of the juke is ooooogly!! It think it's going to be the civic. Looking at a black without the wing.

I think the wing is waaaay too big for a car that size and one that's a dd.

Civic costing about 10k more

It's Trinidad roads you are dealing with a Juke is the clear choice.

Civics are also a dime a dozen in Trinidad.

^+1 brand new wrx hatch starts at $25k. Hands down that would be my choice for a DD.

Snow, dirt, tarmac compatible. 265hp helps too.

I just got rid of my Honda Civic and picked up a 2012 Subaru WRX sedan- great DD. AWD, 5 sp manual, great turbo boxer engine sound. Of the 2 you are considering, I'd pick the Type R.
