Disabling seat-belt warning with Ecutek after installing aftermarket seats

I installed Cobra Misano seats in my GTR and got the little defeat device but still have the flashing seat-belt sign. Is there a way to disable that with my Ecutek, and if so, please explain the process like I was 5 years old . Thanks in advance.

Same question from me. I've purchased various 2ohm resistors, from cheap 10X $1 ones off eBay, to 6X $30 Works Bell Resistors, and a $100 Airbag360 module. Did the airbag reset sequence over 100X. Had to put the car on a trickle charger because it died from doing it so many times. At one point in my 100 or so hours messing with it over the past two years, I managed to get the seatbelt light to turn off (currently back on since I changed the resistors around again in attempts to disable the airbag light, then I gave up). The one thing I was never able to do despite so many attempts is the airbag light. The Airbag360 module does not do work. At least for my 2020. On the website it says it covers GTR years 2007-2016. I'm guessing 2017+ are different electronically. At this point I think the only way to confidently eliminate the airbag light is to tear apart a 2020 GTR seat to get the passenger occupancy sensor. People say you can use a sensor from an infinity or altima, but at this point, I'm tired of dicking with it and would rather not add a variable. Either buy the same year GTR seat or pull out the gauge cluster to rip out the LEDs. Any advice from someone with a 2017+ that was able to successfully disable both the seat belt and airbag light?

Bummer TheSnail.

I was counting on you to have this solved :)

Would any of these solve the issue:

Bypass Simulate SRS Airbag Emulator Simulator Resistor -Diagnostic Tool-

Recaro Universal Resistor Wire

I ordered these, but haven't gotten around to doing a seat swap yet, so not sure if they will work: Airbag Simulator/Disconnect

Tay, my man. My favorite GTR-Life member. Hope all is well Sir & I appreciate the links. I will buy all of those as well. I think they have a lot of promise in them. I don't know of a single person with a 2017+ GTR that successfully disabled the airbag light, so if we can solve it, it will go a long way in helping others down the road.

All is well! Thank you for the kind words.

I emailed Chris from Airbag Systems Inc. and said the two simulators I got from him should solve the issue. They are different looking than any other resistor I have seen. They are small little metal cylinders you plug into.

Get two of those and see how those work.
