i'm against the idea of using a pillar gauge setup for the gt-r. it's kinda too rice for my taste but to everyone their own, this is just me.

anyway, i'm getting a custom pod setup which will stay inside the glovebox. can share pics if you want once its done in a few days.

What's the need for analogue readouts when the MFD has options for pretty much analogue-looking gauges with high accuracy?

Another thing to consider is the airbags. Most new cars have an A pillar air bag (cant remember if the GT-R has one there) in the event of an accident you might have a boost gauge dial permanently stamped into your forehead.

yeah I hate pillar gauges... i would go for adding one or two small ones above the MFD for secondary fuel level and oil temp.

+1, except I'd really want them to be closer to the LH side.

lol! Yeah, not a good thing. I don't believe the GT-R has an airbag there. I'm going to have to go look, when I'm headed home from work this afternoon.

The only gauge I think the car may ever need is a wideband. If I ever did one I'd probably put it in the vent closest to the screen. All stealth like.

Pillar gauges are so 1990's Supra.

I want a 7-segment power and tq output per RPM readout based off of ECU lookup tables
