Depends on who the builder is. I'll say this, it's probably going to be longer than you think or want. I was actually thinking about creating a thread about this for people considering doing bigger builds. There is a LOT of waiting. Good luck with your build, you'll love it once it's done!

The shop quoted me 4-6 weeks and I gave them a deposit for a core so that we could minimize down time lol. So the core is ready when the car gets there. It's a big known shop. I already miss driving the car especially since it's Labor Day weekend

This lol mine was supposed to be gone and back within a month... Manley on backorder DELAY, DSS on major cluster F* DELAY, ETS turbos DELAY, I think even Fore had a delay lol... Day one of Month 4 will start on the 19th... For someone that loves driving this has been problematic for something that was supposed to take 1 full month. I will say our machine shop once they had the parts/engine had it back as promised on time

Moral of the story if you pick a time and need a part on major delay, it'll hose up everything.

Plan accordingly I prepared myself it might take an extra 2-3 weeks. So most I'd planned on was 7 weeks and that was my emergency terrible situation lol I'll be lucky if its back by Saturday the 12th marking almost 13 weeks haha... So double my nightmare situation.

Let me hop of here before I continue to rant

My full build took two weeks with tuning and that included two setbacks.
This is about how long my build took. I had my motor built with rods, pistons, cams, springs turbos, bearings and such and it was 2 weeks once all parts were in. My build has lasted me 2 1/2 years.
