Error code P0463, Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Input

2012 Premium with only mods HKS res. midpipe and catback. Keep getting this error on the track. Not a loose gas cap. Dealer replaced either a fuel sensor or fuel pump just before I was on track this weekend and again I got a check engine message in my second session. Had filled up about 20 miles from the track the day before--no error all the way through the first session and part of the second. I did not pull the code myself previously, but now that the dealer (and from what I understand, Nissan) has had problems diagnosing the fix, thought I would see if anyone else has run into this, but a couple hours of searching the site did not turn up this code number. Any ideas?

Checked my file at the office, and the fuel pump and sensor are one component.
What ended up happening? I'm at the track right now and just got this error.
fuel is too hot ;-)
Just reset and be done with it?

The fuel pump/sensor did not do it. They fixed it by replacing the entire instrument cluster. I received a letter as I remember at a later time about if you had in the past or had to in the future have the cluster replaced, it was covered under warranty, or maybe it was that the warranty was extended a couple more years. Sansing Nissan in Pensacola did the work, so if your dealer needs some more info...
And another detail. The error code is an error itself, so you can keep on trackin'
Thanks, CrainP.

I'm just cleared the code. I'm running a tune and if I uninstall the tune to take it to the dealer, it'll probably be off the ecu history and they can't do anything.

Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
I thought they fixed these instrument clusters back on CBA? Keep up updated!

FYI, mine was my 2012, stock.
Thanks, mine is a 2012 as well.

I cleared the code and it didn't come back. (I also tried some high speed runs and WOT.)

I keep having this code come on when my fuel level gets close to empty. As long as I keep the car above E at all times, the SES light never comes on. Do you think this is some fail safe that Nissan implemented to keep owners from running the car with very low fuel levels in it? I was only doing this to do a few drag passes.
It's not normal, shouldn't be doing that

John
Great something new to figure out.
