Out for a good canyon run and I come up to a spot on the road that looked like tar that was spilled on the road didn't think much of it until a 911 turbo going the opposite direction
a little faster then he should of had its back end step out because he didn't see the oil on the road in time and he was all over the road, thankfully he missed me, thankfully I was driving slow in the other side of the road.
I pull over to check it out further and it turns out someone ran over a fairly large rock on the road. Whoever hit the rock not only damaged their car, broke their oil pan and managed to crack the road surface as well. Easily there was well over 15 quarts all over road and worse "on the down hill section of lanes".
I called up the police about disaster of oil spilled all over the road, and here I was suck just stuck on the side of the road with a flag like a track marshal warning people of the oil in the road for about an hour before the 1st car showed up and then it was another 1:30 before back ups showed up with the sand and dirt needed to clean up the mess.
My question is this how can people not be courteous enough to put up a warning or do something to warn other drivers of something as serious " OIL" left on the road ?
Any one riding a motor bike today would have been seriously injured or killed because of someone lack of courtesy.
