GT-R driver in Johannesburg passed away last night in an accident. I dont know him personally and I dont know what happened as yet but these pics were posted locally, sad day, had two daughters who I am sure will miss him dearly.

Thats probably the worst accident i have ever seen in an R35 to date. Whatever happened it must have been very very bad. looks like a tank ran it over.

This really puts things in perspective right?

Its all fun and games in these cars until something happens, we all like to think we are invincible when we are tearing it up.

Id say keep it to the track but Ive never been and I too also hit it on the road. (Thats presuming this was even caused by speed and not a random animal walking out in front etc)

The point Im trying to make is that without getting deep that we should all be super grateful that we are currently here (alive) and able to take something from this terrible accident.

Such a shame, I can only imagine how his family feels.
