Two cars on my bucket list...the Turbo S and the 599GTO. I'd be happy to have either...to OP's original video...no surprise at all about the results.
i know of a gray GTO for sale...

Youtube races are real..... Ferrari Italia = Turbo S. It's the real thing, not just numbers....
according to the issue before the newest one of R&T, the 458 Italia does a 0-60 time of 3.0 and a quarter of 11.0 at 128.5mph. the turbo S (stock) does 0-60 in 2.6 and 1/4 in [email protected] i can't find any official magazine testing times for the GTO but the manufacturer estimated times is 0-60 in 3.35 secs and though i couldn't find a quarter mile time, i did find one stat saying it would do 0-124mph in 9.8 secs so i'd imagine it's just a hair quicker in the quarter than the turbo S, if not dead even

DMS Turbo S has 611hp, PDK and is 100kg lighter, so the result figures.

You're confusing press cars with customer cars.

Not really. YOU are confusing dig races with roll races, actually. The video I posted showed a roll race too.
Which car is 100 kg lighter? GTO weighs 1.5 tonnes. Turbo S weighs 1.6 tonnes.

Turbo S = Italia

The actual weight of a GTO is 1680kg(ish), just as the actual weight of a 599GTB is 1791kg. Don't believe everything on the brochure. The video I posted shows a race over a mile. Dig or no dig, the 458 had plenty of space to come back if it was faster.

The problem with roll-races is that some clown always jumps the throttle, so you rarely see a true picture. In the first race the 458 looked faster but it got a jump. In the second, when the Turbo S had the window up, there was nothing in it. Considering press 458s do 0-180mph in 23.3s, the 458 should have torn the doors off the Turbo S as it came past.
