We just wrapped up an in depth R35 GT-R build here at the shop which consists our in house assembled Forged Performance FP1 VR38 Shortblock and FP Spec Turbo Upgrade. Sharif had the car strapped down to our Dyno Dynamics a few days ago for break in and initial tuning and the car responded and performed flawlessly as expected. The end result of the 93 octane pump gas Road Race ECU calibration was an impressive 704whp at 22 PSI! Soon this pump gas monster will spend some more time with Sharif on the streets of Marietta, Georgia for some street tuning to make sure it not only makes great power but also has the stock like driveability and seamless power delivery that our ECU calibrations are known for. You can expect a full build thread with a ton of high quality photos coming soon, but for now check out the video I put together while it was on the dyno earlier this week:

Nice video. Power and torque curves look great. Any plans for a race gas tune with more boost?
Thank you

We will not be doing a race gas map since it is a track day car.

Hi Jason,
To elaborate on Chad's comments this GT-R is used almost exclusively for track days and argueably one doesn't need more than 600whp, let alone 700whp for fun track days. With this in mind, we didn't load up the race fuel and crank up the boost any higher and we also take a safe approach with our Road Race calibration with a nice gradual ramp of boost, for more linear power delivery. Our turbochargers will max at at about 750whp so there is a bit left in them but not much. As a side note, we always recommend using 98octane race fuel on track as an added safety measure particularly during really hot and humidy days. He'll be having a TON fo fun with this setup for many hundreds of hours of track use.

How to see you soon.

Hi Sharif,
Completely understand about the road course tune. I was just wondering if he was going to have a race gas "max boost" tune for the occasional trip to the drag strip. Nice job on the install and the tune. I agree that this car will be an absolute blast on the road course. Congrats again on the build and I am looking forward to more details. Talk with you soon.

Sounds good, Jason. Hopefully we can get more vendors and shops to join us on the road course portion of Texas TK11,

I agree. The new road course location looks like a "larger faster track". I want to try and get some good in car footage of all the GT-R's on the track. Last year everyone was playing poker and did not want to run together
I ended up with no "lead/follow" footage on the track with any other GT-R's. See you in Houston!!

Yeah, it's a shame the finale was canceled due to the wreck. No poker this time..promise.
