We recently had the pleasure to work on another exciting GT-R project. Although this GT-R previously made very good numbers, the owner decided it was time for the next step. For this round, a set of HKS GT800 turbos, larger intakes, FMIC, and intercooler piping were added to the current list of power adders. After a few quick days of installation, it was time for Sharif to work his magic. The end result was 705 whp on E85 on our Dyno Dynamics. These are the highest numbers we have recorded on the factory internals on a GT-R. This customer's goals were a bit more aggressive than what we usually see, so it was pushed a little further. As you can see the torque is still kept to a nice, safe level. We are currently at the limits of the ID1000cc injectors and twin Deatschwerks 300 pumps, so we will be installing a complete fuel system, new rails, and larger injectors this week to accommodate the E85. Before anyone asks, a built motor and transmission are in the very near future. The modification list and pictures are below.

HKS GT800 Turbo Kit
HKS Resonated Midpipe
HKS M45 Spark Plugs
HKS SSQV BOV's (with purple inserts)
GTC 102mm Catback Exhaust
AMS Alpha Induction Kit
AMS FMIC Kit
Deatschwerks 300lph fuel pumps
ID1000cc Injectors
Cobb AP
Forged Performance Custom ECU Calibration

Nice work. Looks great!!! How many HKS 800 kits have you guys installed? Seems like every week or two another client of yours is having you guys install an HKS pkg

Haha, yeah we like the GT800 kits over here. I've lost track of how many we have done.

Thanks for posting this up, guys. This will be the new mod list by the end of the week:

HKS GT800 Turbo Kit
HKS M45 Spark Plugs
HKS SSQV BOV's (with purple inserts)
GTC 102mm Full Exhaust
AMS Alpha Induction Kit
AMS FMIC Kit
AMS Alpha Fuel System
AMS Alpha Fuel Rail Upgrade
ID2000cc Injectors
Cobb AP
Forged Performance Custom ECU Calibration

The guys at Forged also installed the CarKit rear camera and nav by pass (waiting on front camera) along with a very clean install of the Escort 9500ci radar jammer. Once the new fuel system is in, the car will undergo additional tuning complete with an array of e85 and 93 oct maps. I will be sure to post up additional pictures and results early next week. Can't wait to get behind the wheel!

Should do the clutches now because you will slip... it might be showing on the dyno graph..the weird dip in the middle.. what is it?

Don't know that the clutches are slipping in the graph. I ran ~40 more torques on the stock turbos and never really felt any slipping. They will, however, slip eventually and a mild trans build is in the works for the near future. I am not sure aout the dip . . . the torque was purposely brought down for safety so maybe that is what you are talking about?

Pretty good numbers! Mine made 744whp on the factory bottom end, didn't last long though! Lol

imho the engine should last quite a while. Forged has done a nice job managing the torque on this build. "Mild" torque tapering nicely with a strong hp curve. Very similar to a P800 graph.

Enjoy the car ATL_GTR and nice job again to the Forged crew.

It should last a long time with Sharif's reliable tune. Congrats to ATL_GTR. Good to see another fellow HKS GT800 kit owner.

Thanks and I agree that Sharif doing the tuning is the only reason that this car should survive a bit longer than most with the same mods. Even though Sharif is probably pushing the stack block a bit further than he would like (at my request), I will be driving the car at least half of the time on a more conservative tune. Forged is an awesome shop and I am confident that the final result will be fantastic. Car goes in for new fuel system today at lunch . . .

Thanks and glad to be part of the HKS GT800 club. While they are surely not the most technologically advanced kit on the market, I like the JDM aspect and have always wanted to build a car with a HKS TT kit. Now, if I could only make flames like you!

Sorry for the delay guys, here are some recent pictures including fuel system, engine bay, radar install and exhaust surrounds (sorry for the filthy). The tune is complete and the car is driving fantastically. I am really happy with the outcome -- the entire Forged team did an outstanding job and went above and beyond to deliver me exactly what I envisioned. For now, my plan is to enjoy the car for the spring/summer then start planning out an engine/trans build which will include modifying the turbos.

I also found a great source for dry carbon fiber parts which I will post about in a different thread (with clean pictures of my exhaust surrounds).
