After lurking around on here for months reading info about my dream car, I finally pulled the trigger

. I'm getting my 2010 Red GTR this week, deal is final and the car is on its way.

I've been driving my 2000 Celica for 11 years since college, and save every penny for a moment like this. I almost cried when the seller accepted my offer and gave me a good deal on the car.
I was out of town the whole time so didn't really test drive the car but my brother said it was great. It should be 10 times better than my Celica right? lol

Cant wait to go home seeing my GTR in the driveway! Thank you all for all the helpful information. This forum rocks!

So, I finally got home after a long trip to meet my lady in red!! She is absolutely gorgeous and stunning

. I picked the right color, red looks just so good in person, much much better than what i see on videos and images.

I got a lot of attention on my first trip to the gas station. One guy came out of his van got really excited about my car, then he asked me if i wanted to buy a pair of speakers from his van. I was like WTF!?? Seriously!? Is this my first celebrity-like attention i get lol.

Then, after the engine oil got hot enough, I floored her at the lights to see what she got. And sh*tttttttt, she scared the crap out of me haha, it was fun

Already ordered before seeing the car

• 6000K license plate led lights
• 6000K map/dome led lights
• 6000K door courtesy led lights

I will see how the car goes before getting the AAM resonated midpipe, and maybe a tune later. Cobb tuning Plano is several blocks away from my house lolz. So tempting

But i'm sure i will need to get used to the new power level first as my Celica has only 180HP and i haven't really driven anything above 300HP. Hope Godzilla wont eat me alive

Congratulations, buddy. You will replace your Celica with a GTR. I will replace my "Silvia" with a GTR.

from 180hp to 485hp!! congrats and you will love it no doubt!! just make sure you hold on tight to the steering wheel especially the first time you hit it hard
