Hey NAGTROC!

We have a used set of Volk RE30 wheels that Sharif used on his GT-R for a couple of years and many of you may recognize this popular wheel style. They are gloss black with a machined lip. They came off the Forged Performance Time Attack GT-R, and they are in excellent condition with only light signs of use and no curb rash. Even the lug nut passages look pretty clean.

Fronts are 19x10 +30 offset
Rears are 19x11 +20 offset

The Volk 19 inch RE30 has been one of the most popular dual purpose track and street wheel for years. It's super strong and lightweight and can accept a wide range of tires, from Toyo R888's to Hoosiers or even street tires. Switching from the OEM wheels and tires to these wheels results in roughly a 100lb weight savings factoring the wheel/tire combo.

They currently have tires some old worn out hoosiers which will be dismounted before shipping. Since the wheels were used mostly on track, center caps are not included. However, we have plenty of different new Volk center caps in stock if you'd like to purchase a set.

For added convenience, we also sell mount and balance all popular brands of tires for street and track use, so don't hesitate to ask for a complete mounted/balanced package price.

Current retail price: $4698
$2900 +shipping

When you say GTR fitment, is that good for a GTR on stock suspension? (ie. not sticking pass fenders and any rubbing?)

Interested, and can you post some pics of them on a GTR?

Thanks.

Hey White_Turbo,
No rubbing or sticking out. The rears would actually be a bit "sunken" in. We ran 15mm spacers in the rear with our car, and they were pretty flush. We have ran the car with out them as well, again, personal preference. I'll find some pics and post them up in a few!

I am looking for a good track set up wheel, are these still available? Which tire combos do you recommend for these with stock suspension for use on track only (Hoosiers or Toyo). I have read that some don't like the 19" on the track because of the speedo differences of 8% or so and to instead use 18" or 20", please give me your opinion.

Thanks.

I'm jump in here for Kim to elaborate a bit more. The speedo difference isn't an issue from a performance standpoint. The biggest benefit to these wheels is the much lower unsprung weight, and the ability to run some popular R compound tires in 19 inch. We've gone very fast with this setup. The 19's also clear the brakes easily. Because the OD is about 1 inch shorter than OEM, this basically acts as a slightly lower gear ratio for more acceleration/response off the corner. Great price for a very expensive wheel. New they are $4700 iist. Volk keeps taking their prices up, so the wheels tend to hold their value pretty well compared to other brands of wheels.

Two questions: Why are you selling them? What is a good GT-R friendly tire for street and track use?

Thanks.

Okay, I have answers!

1) The Forged Performance track car is running 18" slicks at the moment.

2) As far as tires go, a good street/track tire would be the r888s. 295/30/19 for the front, and 305/30/19 for the rear. For a strict track set up, i would recommend hoosier r6/a6. 295/30/19 for the front, and 315/30/19 for the rear.

Thanks,
Kim
