After capturing the Alpha 10 / 30R record a couple of months ago, we had another record on our minds that we knew was well within reach - the Alpha 12 / 35R record. After installing the Alpha 12 turbos, it was time for some tuning fun. With a baseline set on the Alpha 12 turbos and the stock intake manifold on the car, we swapped to the Alpha Performance Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold.

Below is the dyno sheet which compares the Stock IM vs. the Alpha Performance Carbon Fiber IM on this Alpha 12 / 35R powered GT-R. The solid line on the graph is with the Carbon Fiber IM installed on the car; the dotted line is the stock IM. Both pulls were done at 32 PSI, and the results were very impressive and speak for themselves. We gained +90 WHP and +50 WTQ with the Alpha Performance Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold! Not many aftermarket parts improve spool up AND top end power like that.
After the comparison pulls were done, we turned up the boost a bit and ended with 1167 AWHP on our Mustang Dyno.

After such great results, we could not wait to get to the track again. Yesterday we made that happen, and are pleased to announce that we captured the Alpha 12 / 35R Turbo Kit ET record!!! 8.26 @ 169MPH

Are these adapters for the stock throttle bodies to smooth the transition of the inlets down to around 67mm? I'm assuming they were designed to just be removed when upgrading to larger 72-73mm throttle bodies so you don't have to modify the manifold.

Also, do you have to use AMS fuel rails?

Congradulations.
8,26s @ 32 psi of boost pressure?
We did the comparison dyno pulls @ 32 psi. So the stock IM @ 32 psi Vs. Alpha Carbon manifold @ 32 psi.

We ran the 8.2 pass with around 35 psi.

Very nice time. Alpha 12 doin' work! Best package available.
Thx. I've been extremely pleased with both the Alpha 10 and 12 packages. The results we've seen from these kits is amazing.

Awesome 60 foot, wow!

What rubber did you have on the front?

The adapters reduce the TB inlet diameter in the intake manifold to match the stock TB's. When upgrading to larger TB's you just remove the adapters and the inlet diameter is increased to match the larger after market TB's.

No, you don't have to use the alpha fuel rails, some other rails will work. We had the T1 rails before the Carbon Manifold Install, and they do work if you modify some things but we elected to install the Alpha units.

Stock suspension
AMS 17" drag slick package
Custom Alignment, done here in-house at Boostin Performance
No Traction Control at the track, but we do use it when the street tires are on the car.
