Hey guys,

I just found out the track they've been building for a year or so is open. (As of Aug. 12) They will plan for Thursday night lapping for future reference. Just built and paved, so it should be pretty smooth. Only downside is it is a short course, but it sure beats the alternative tracks around here. (None)

Plus it is only 30mins max from my place...

As soon as my car is here, (7-14 days...) and broken in (8-15 days...) I will let you guys know if there is a lapping event left in the season and maybe we can plan a showing of GT-R's.

Plus the drag strip is next door...

I'll let everyone know how it is when I can make it out on it.

I hear they are still not finished with the track yet and that some repaving is being done.

Hmm. I am supposed to be attending a motorcycle race this weekend, I'll report back.

Ok, I had my weekends mixed up. The race was this past weekend, and the track is awesome. A little small for cars, but doable. Looking REAL forward to getting the break in done asap on my car and I'll let everyone know how it goes.

The best part is as it is new, I may be able to set a fastest lap record...
