just put down a baseline gold time as a benchmark for my ghost car to start grinding down the next few days. this GT3 car has a lot of oversteer like the NISMO road car but its RWD so you have to gently apply power out of turns. I found traction on 1 helped a bit

I think im throwing in the towel at 1:25.7 for this round as im having to run traction on 1 which I know is hurting the time but I cant get the power down out of turns without as it will just spin

I'm using a G27 and Playseat Alcantara. But I suck at using a wheel. Still not used to it.

I got Thrustmaster T500RS wheel with GTRsimulator seat

im waiting for RD 3 but in the meantime in honor of the 24rs of Nurburgring I did that seasonal time trial of the 24hr course in the 13 RJN GT academy GTR GT3 with the 630pp limit. gold was 8:40 and with that car I just eeked in at 8:38 as I was trying to drive on the edge but couldnt risk having the time turn red so there were spots about 6 mins in I had to play it safe

Round is up

so I laid down a 2:12 as a baseline to work from. my problem is if I dont do eau rouge just perfect I get .5 behind my ghost and have to play catch up the rest of the lap. for me the last 2 turns before the finish are the worst as im usually neck and neck with my ghost and I ever overshoot braking there or go too slow

pretty cool car.. it handles great but the revs take a bit longer to build up which makes it feel a little sluggish. ive been doing auto and manual. I always do auto first to again put a base time down and then use manual shifting to work from that point. also im running TC on 1 as again with I cant power down like I want to

yeah tomorrow night at 3amEST it should be live

i just wonder if it will be configured like the car currently is and if the gold time will be realistic to what the car can run. if its in the 3:20s then we know the answer

I'm super pumped to get behind the wheel!

I'm still thrilled that they got all three cars to Le Mans and from what I understand, accomplished their testing goals today with just a single hiccup. Just that is an accomplishment for the team with a fraction of the budget as the big three!

For GT academy I hope they disable the e brake, all of the engine braking high up in the ranks is bad enough. A high powered front drive with awesome aero should be great to drive.
