Per my customers "subtle" requests I wanted to put up a progress thread on this GT-R Build.

The car came to us with all of the supporting mods minus the motor and turbo kit, but wasn't running at its full potential. Making less than 500whp with full bolt ons the owner decided it was time to step up the game and send his car down to us from New Jersey. We are very excited to transform this car into something our customer can enjoy and extract the full potential of the parts chosen.

| The Plan |

*HKS GT800 Kit (on its way from Japan)
*TSM Built Motor
-Carrillo Rods
-CP Pistons
-H11 Head Studs
-Balance Assembly
-TSM Race Tested Tolerances
*Speed Density Conversion
*TSM ECU Calibration for 93oct & Race Gas
*Matte wrap removed - replaced with Matte film
*ADV1 Wheel Package (Street)
*Volk G12 Wheel Package (Track)

The matte wrap is pretty much ruined by the rich A/F mixture that covered the back of the car in a dark grime so we are removing the wrap and using the new matte film protection to redo the matte look on the car. Then to finish the look off the car will get ADV1 wheels for the street and Volk G12s for the Track!

The car is going to be one mean looking/running girl when we send her back!! The only limiting factor for the power will be the stock tranny, but the customer has plans of upgrading that in the near future so that we can turn this baby up and make the power that the turbo kit and motor deserve

Thank you for the opportunity to transform your pride and joy xchouderx

Here are some pictures of the progress so far.

Build the trans!!!!! it will be bothering you to have all that power and not be able to use it all. Plus might as well do it when the cars already down!!! Any chance the car will be running in the 1/2 mile event in Oct?

Good luck with the build..cars gunna be a beast!!!

Cicio, thank you for the post, thanks for everyone keeping posted to this build. I am so excited...Cicio, has been great so far exceeded all my expectations as far as customer service, parts, and prices. Pictures and this thread took a little longer than expected, but in the end came out great, because he has 30 or so cars in his possession so I know hes a busy guy. Topspeed overall again has exceeded my expectations for everything so far, and I would recommend them to anyone. They beat prices like its their second job, and service so far so good just waiting to see the final product.
Thanks Team Topspeed, especially Cicio!

Thanks for the kind words man.

I will keep you up to date the whole way, and sorry for the delay on the pictures. I actually tried to start this thread last week but had posting problems with the board...just got it all worked out with the Admins
So its not TOTALLY my fault LOL

Got an update on the other parts today...I will be in touch tonight before I leave.

I will have more pictures as the parts get here and we continue with the process. Thanks guys.

Cicio,
In the pic of the engine with the chains exposed, I am assuming the largest chain is the cam or timing chain. What does the small chain at the very bottom do? Sorry for the rookie question, but these types of threads are very educational.
