Took my GTR over to the track along with my buddy's I have a 2010 he has a 2015 black edition what have been your best times stock ?

GTR 2015 7.4 @95mph

GTR 2010 7.6 @95mph

i dont have access to a quality prepped 1/4 so I have done a ton of 1/8 testing in the GTR over the years. Here are my personal records but an average night at the strip nets a tenth or so slower depending on weather and prep

In my 2009 with midpipe & exhaust only [email protected] 1.81. 60ft

In my 2012 with midpipe only [email protected] 1.5760ft

In my NISMO bone stock [email protected] 1.5760ft

My 2014 ran 7.038 @ 100.81and 7.191 @100.08 bone stock. Best 60 ft was 1.63 on stock tires with 7k miles on them.

Nice I guess I just need more seat time in my car I forgot to mention I did not use launch control have been trying to learn the correct way to launch it any tips and tricks?

no LC makes for half a second difference in the 1/8th easily as that distance is all about the launch

when you do launch it at the 1/8th and you want the best time dont worry about the lane beside you and just let the LC hold for an extra second which seems to help with the absolute best off the line launch. that and try stock tire pressure 26-28 in the rear other than that not much you as the driver can do as its up to the prep and the temps out

Launch control makes a huge difference at the track. One time, I bogged my launch because the guy was dicking around with the starting lights. the car ran about a half second slower than it had been all night on that pass.

just out of curiosity, how much of a difference did the mid pipe make?

Hard to say as the track conditions and DA vary more than the midpipe but all things being equal in would say 1 tenth and 1 mph
