According to the video title the GTR was making around 750 hp, so it should beat Ferrari even beyond 200 mph, like it happened!

The white GTR is mine and is running a Severn Valley Motorsport 750R kit with mapping from Ben Linney. The DMG car is running less power with a 650R SVM kit and is the one in the video above.
Here is a video of mine against the 911 Turbo S which is a bloody fast car
The Turbo S was 6 months old and has a DMS remap but is a much lighter car but did manage to catch it on the runs. Managed 208mph indicated speed and 202mph through the traps.

Yup at 1:28 you can see it flash, it's just for a moment tho. I'm still not perfectly clear on what acceptable levels of knock are.Looked to me like the boost gauge was flashing. Knock??

The GTO owner could easily add a GT-R to his stable if it was acceleration he desires. GTO is a sexy car and acceleration isn't the only thing that matters for us car guys!
It is okay. If it was constant you will want retune. The tuners are running near knock conditions for max power. Even stock GTRs will reach the boost flash level.

599 GTO is my favorite Ferrari so far. Love the looks.
I love the GTO hood, and roof. It looks quite different.
the GTO is my favorite too. What's the difference between the GTB and GTO?
It still amazes me how fast the porsches are off the line compared to the gtr's. We def need some higher launch rpms
