The sound was pretty unpleasant but my car has broken free.
Glad it was nothing. I hate when the brakes do that. I am used to the heavy rust on the Germans. I always go up and down the street after drying the cars.

I've tried what the manual suggests with resting for ~30 seconds but the brakes still get bound to the rotors most of the time. Since I push the car out of the garage to start it when running pump gas, it throws me off for a few seconds before realizing what's happening. The only thing that reliably prevents it from happening is taking the car for a spin around the block.
