A few months back while steve millen was down in New Zealand competing we saw video of an impromtu race between a GTR and a helicopter top gear style
The helicopter in the race is a Eurocopter AS350 powered by a Arriel 1D1 engine making 732shp.

Cool vid but the Eurocopter never had a chance with a max speed of 152mph. The only race it would win is over water.

GT-R had a 120 mph limiter. During the Targa New Zealand, they have a maximum speed limit, as its over closed public roads. If you get caught going faster than 120 mph, you get penalized. Best way to prevent that, is to lower the limiter with the ECU. You might be able to hear the GT-R on the limiter.

yeah both very awsome birds. I work with both of them, but I am pretty sure the AS350 is the only helicopter to land on top of mount everest.
