Gunmetal or Black - Forgestar CF5
Hey guys got these wheels from ACG and had shipped to my installer and never opened. I thought I ordered textured black but got gunmetal instead. When I picked up the car I found it out. What do you guys think. The gunmetal is an interesting color with the SS. It has a slight metal flake to it.

For the money you payed you should get what you want! but i think they look nice ask for some$ back or get the ones you ordered. what was there excuse?

From a newb I think the black would go better with your trim and aero package.
The set of gloss black CF5s is in production. This setup looks good. Personally I would go with CF10 setup or CF5 in brushed. Gloss black would look beautiful also!
Looks good but I'd probably talk to the vendor and get them to ship you a black one that you can check out in real life before deciding.
These wheels are not in stock. They don't lay around waiting to be picked up in every color. Each set is a custom order where you get to choose the color and the offset and then wait for 6 weeks for your set to get produced. The sets you see in stock are our pre-orders that get manufactured for the stocking orders. Normally they sell before they are produced but once in a while we have a set of wheels laying around.
I take it you are the vendor the OP used? Interesting response. I apparently offended you. Perhaps that's a "lost-in-translation" aspect I am misjudging.
I am the vendor and no, I was not offended by anything you have said. I felt I needed to explain that certain things are not as easy to do as they seem. We have worked out an acceptable solution to the situation where everybody stays happy.
