After several track days in other cars I finally made it to the track in the GTR. It was a PCA event at Mid Ohio with several wonderful cars and lots of clear track. After several (6-8) trackdays with Audi Club and PCA at VIR this was my first with Ohio Valley PCA and first time at Mid Ohio. The track was great and we found Ohio Valley to be very friendly and easy to work with. (Highly recommended)
In the yellow run group I found that only one car was able to pass me and it was a SS Switzer P800 car with JRZ triples and 888's. My best lap was in the low 143's which was way beyond my expectations going in and my car was flawless. Overall the weekend reassured my choice in cars....

Top Speed mid pipe and Tune on 2012 Dunlops and Endless MX 72's...

I watched the first 3:14. Nice driving. Glad to hear you had such a great time at the track. The GT-R is so much fun at the track! I love how every GT-R track video shows passing like other cars standing still. Just a suggestion: try editing to just post your fastest lap. A lot of us don't have time to watch half a run session. At least personally, I just want to see your fastest lap!

Looks like you had a blast!

Thanks guys... It was a great time for sure. I agree with the video suggestion, but I didnt really get my good session or lap as I had a hell of a time with the old go pro and just threw this one out there. I timed my fastest lap of the weekend at 143.7 on the GTR lap timer but took 293 pictures of the run with the go pro...lol. Anyone know the p800 car out of Columbus?? He was very flat in the corners with his JRZ's and R888's. Tires seemed to hold me back the most as I was sliding around alot compared the the Switzer car. Would sways and R compounds be enough to fix the issue??? Or would it require c/o's also??? Looking for bang for the buck...Im hooked
thanks

Glad you had a good time at the track! Driving looks good!

Sways and tires will help you for sure, I would start with a sleeve kit to add height adjustment to the mix, that will help you alot without having to spend the money on coilovers right away if you don't want.

I can help you with some track setup if you like.....thats my favorite thing to do with the GT-R.

Glad the tune held up sold for you on track.

Shoot me an email or PM if you need any help with setup
