I took my car in for the 18 month service. ($1600 ouch) and when the porter pulled my car around BOTH headlights were fogged up.

I have owned the car for two years and never have had this happen and it has been in the garage. outside the garage, etc. The Service Writer already ordered me two new headlights under warranty and was very apologetic and insisted that they had nothing to do with the problem and it was a coincidence. I find it very hard to believe.

Any ideas if they could have removed a cover or something that caused this?

My 2010 started fogging and getting water droplets in it about 2 months ago.It is being replaced by nissan on my 12 month pos next month.I guess it is a common problem from what i have been seeing on the site. I just hope it is not a big deal to remove the headlight capsule and not have a seating issue with the new lamp or any body issues while it is being replaced.

The front bumper has to come off to replace the headlamp(s), mine has been off 3 times now as the dealer has not managed to replicate the fit of a factory installed bumper. I would ask your dealer to replace the side (plastic) bumper mounting clips at the same time the bumper is off as these break very easily and some dealers just refit with broken clips.
