I received my dry carbon fiber hood style #2 in gloss finish from the group buy and overall the quality is great!

However, when I tried to mount it this evening the mounting holes did not align properly with the OEM hood brackets and when I applied pressure to align the bolts it resulted in the hood being misaligned. When I remove the lower bracket bolts on both sides I can see that the holes in the hood are off by a couple mm which is most likely causing the hood to torque to one side.

I guess I could drill out the holes in the oem brackets to better align with the holes in the hood but I am reluctant to do so as it would then make it harder to align my oem hood back.

Anyone have thoughts, recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

That's too bad because that hood looks incredibly sick.

I really want to see what it would look like painted white with the carbon in the vents exposed.
