What is the highest trans temp anyone has ever seen during hard street driving?

I don't mean drag racing or ripping down the freeway. Think of the ultimate mountain road full of twists and turns with lots of WOT blasts.

No matter how hard you drive on the road it will never tax the car like back-to-back laps on a track.

Has anyone ever hit 240F while not on the track?

My worst temps come from sitting in rush hour traffic moving nowhere. 210+ degrees?

I have been at 208 but I don't think that is really too high.

I don't think I have had it go above 200 and that is with hard driving and LC4 launches.

Sean, does the Targa car run a difff cooler? I also remember it only ran a Dodson heat exchanger to cool the tranny instead of an HKS style DCT cooler. Is that still the case?

Just the Dodson heat exchanger, but I think all that is going to change after this year. The STILLEN car is still relatively stock, but is going to need to step it up to keep up with Tony Quinn.

240F would be pretty rare to see during street driving unless you are absolutely killing it on a mountain twist road and doing really unsafe activities.

I used to see 225F max during the hottest weather street driving.
