How do you take off the OEM spoiler?

My detailer wants to take the spoiler off so he could get rid of the swirls underneath the wnig, however he's having trouble taking the wing off, I was wondering if there was a DIY thread or someone on here could explain it to us, Id really appreciate it, I already searched but didnt come across anything yet.

and does the foam tape do anything or can that be skipped when you re-install the spoiler

you need to remove the trunk liner....remove the 2 bolts on each side...heat up each side and the middle with a heat gun and use some fishing line to cut threw it,,,,then pull with some steady pressure and it will come off....
