No problem. This topic definitely isn't better than complaining about scams/complaining about tuning bugs & glitches/sharing GT-R misfortune misery... oh wait... is that the true purpose of the NAGTROC community? probably not. some people don't know how to have fun with a casual "what if" scenario. plus, it's fascinating to see how far tech has come along since the days of R30 & R31, etc.

tl;dr cool story, bro.

you're looking for a mind blowing number when actually it would be worth less....while there are many factors to take into account today's $90K would probably only cost you around $50K back in 1990.....if you're asking what it would be worth it you brought it to 1990 in a time machine....well, isn't it that time of the year for school.....

imho it's still an interesting thought, nevertheless.

I don't think he's asking about what would be the GTRs price due negative inflation in the 90s, he's asking how much would the level of performance cost in the 90s. The technology was already there in the 90s the 3000GT VR4 had a lot of what the GTR currently has albeit not as advanced but it wasn't any where as fast or as capable as the GTR is. Back then the 3KGTVR4 cost 45k brand new.

I understand what he's asking and I still think it's a dumb topic so I'll move along.....

Well, for the 2011 GTR to be back in 1990, it would have to be the special "Back to the Future" edition, complete with flux capacitor. That alone is worth 5 billion dollars.
